Two Constraint Types: Slots & Percolation

چکیده
There are two types of speech errors those that involve interactions between two constituents and those that involve single constituents. The interaction errors are structure preserving: they implicate constituents of the same type replacing one another, and the resulting error is structurally well-formed. Interaction errors may be classified as substitutions, exchanges, anticipations, perseverations or blends such as those in (1) respectively:

Joint Sensing Period and Transmission Time Optimization for Energy-Constrained Cognitive Radios
Under interference constraint and energy consumption constraint, to maximize the channel utilization, an opportunistic spectrum access (OSA) strategy for a slotted secondary user (SU) overlaying an unslotted ON/OFF continuous time Markov chain (CTMC) modeled primary network is proposed. The OSA strategy is investigated via a cross-layer optimization approach, with joint consideration of sensing...
متن کاملLattice animals and the Percolation model under rotational constraint
The effect of rotational constraint on the properties of lattice models like the self-avoiding walk, lattice animals and percolation is discussed. The results obtained so far, using a variety of exact and approximate techniques, are described. Examples of the rotational constraint in real systems are also given.
متن کاملLattice-based structures for studying percolation in two-dimensional grain networks
The applicability of standard lattice percolation models to a random two-dimensional grain structure is explored. A random network based on the triangle lattice is proposed as a more appropriate model, and results in a higher percolation threshold (0.711 compared with 0.653 for the standard hexagonal lattice). The triple junction constraint inherent in grain boundary structures is subsequently ...
متن کاملQueue with Heterogeneous Server Under Resequencing Constraint
In this paper, a markovian queue with two types of servers and buffer space is considered. The resequencing constraint is imposed according to which the customers leave the system in the same order in which they entered it. For finite buffer queue, the steady state queue size distribution has been obtained.?
متن کاملInverse cascade in percolation model: hierarchical description of time-dependent scaling
The dynamics of a 2D site percolation model on a square lattice is studied using the hierarchical approach introduced by Gabrielov et al., Phys. Rev. E, 60, 5293-5300, 1999. The key elements of the approach are the tree representation of clusters and their coalescence, and the Horton-Strahler scheme for cluster ranking. Accordingly, the evolution of percolation model is considered as a hierarch...
